In June 1999, U.S. President Bill Clinton declared the anniversary of the Stonewall riots to be recognized every June in America as Gay and Lesbian Pride Month. In 2011, President Barack Obama expanded the officially recognized Pride Month to include the whole of the LGBTQIA + community. It was only in 2015 that same sex marriage was legalized in every state & yet the LGBTQIA+ community faces discrimination of horrendous proportion every day. Episode 32 introduces Danae’s brother, Seth. Seth came out at the age of 16 & for it experienced many hardships.
